FAQs
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes - please click here for a 15-minute consultation to see if you believe I’d be the right therapist for you.
What is an AMFT? APCC?
An AMFT stands for Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an APCC stands for Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. This mean I am working under supervision for both full licensures in marriage and family therapy and professional clinical counseling.
What does therapy look like?
Individual sessions usually last 50 minutes, while couples sessions are about 60 minutes. During our first meeting, I’ll explain what psychotherapy involves and discuss my role in supporting you throughout the process. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, what led you to seek therapy, and your goals. From there, we’ll decide together whether weekly or bi-weekly sessions work best for you, and I’ll help you create personalized goals to guide your treatment.
What is your rate?
For individual counseling, my fee is $150 per 50 minute session.
For couples counseling, my fee is $200 per 60 minute session.
I believe in affordable and accessible mental health care. With that, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to clients in need.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens and things come up. I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment, you are required to pay the full cost of the session or meeting.
